Nickelodeon’s kids’ cartoon “Yo Gabba Gabba!” has attracted an unlikely fanbase among college students, ABC News reports. Students say the program’s mix of indie music guests like the Shins, animated shorts and live-action segments recall “The Muppets,” the Web site notes. The show has also attracted an audience of stoners who like the show’s bright colors, musical elements and easy-to-understand character, the Web site says.
