Labor Deathmatch: Nicholson vs. Hanks

Big names Jack Nicholson, Martin Sheen and Ben Stiller have lent their faces to the Screen Actor’s Guild’s opposition to the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists’ ratification of a labor agreement with media companies, the Hollywood Reporter says. The actors have lent their support to SAG’s cause after Tom Hanks and other personalities urged guild members to support AFTRA’s deal, THR reports.

  1. Hanks has it right on this. The residents of Tinselburg can not afford another work stoppage.
The WGA/DGA/(AFTRA pending) guidelines will make the future workable and profitable.
Sure we always always want MORE, the AMPTP does too, but reasonableness must reign at this time…SPRED THE WEALTH…AND keep the town working right now, or we all will be up you-know-where without an oar, or a house, let alone a career!
