Hanks, Baldwin, Field Oppose SAG Leaders

High-profile actors Tom Hanks, Alec Baldwin and Sally Field yesterday endorsed a slate of candidates running against current leadership of the Screen Actors Guild, the Los Angeles Times reports. The Unite for Strength group says SAG leadership has mishandled negotiations with the studios and shouldn’t be fighting with AFTRA, a smaller actors union that has reached a labor agreement.

  1. I’m with Tom, Sally and Alec. Due to the current incompetent leadership, there is still no SAG contract and it’s not even in the news anymore.
New leadership will get the tal;ks rolling again and get the job done.

  2. I’m glad these great actors are taking some initiative. SAG has been very petty and needs change at the top. Why should the majority of our country’s screen actors be at the mercy of incompetent leadership?

  3. Love all the opinions expressed here! How is everyone? Love how everyone expresses whatr they feel 🙂
