“Nightline’s” interview with former Democratic presidential hopeful Senator John Edwards on his recently uncovered extramarital affair did not draw in huge numbers for ABC, the Hollywood Reporter says. Although the interview scored similar ratings with the previous week, the show was able to maintain those similar numbers as it went against NBC’s coverage of the Olympic opening ceremonies, the trade says.
