Negotiators from the studios met with federal mediator Juan Carlos Gonzalez Thursday night to discuss the terms of its proposed contract with the Screen Actors Guild, the Hollywood Reporter says. In addition to explaining the details of producers’ “final” offer to the union, Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, including president Nick Counter and executive VP Carol Lombardy, also discussed “background information” and details about deals they struck with other unions, the trade paper says. Negotiators from SAG met with Gonzalez last Friday.
