Showtime’s “Brotherhood,” whose third season opens Sunday, “is an ambitious show that focuses on what it means to be human and ambitious, and the contradictions in the human spirit,” creator and executive producer Blake Masters tells USA Today. The series, about two brothers—one a politician, the other a mobster—has won critical acclaim, but network president Robert Greenblatt admits it doesn’t have the drawing power of “Weeds” or “Dexter,” the paper says.
