FremantleMedia North America is looking to buy Original Productions, Thom Beers’ company responsible for many popular “blue collar hero” reality TV series, the Hollywood Reporter says. Fremantle has previously signed an international distribution deal with Original for several of the company’s properties. Speculation values the potential deal at under $100 million, the trade says.
