Lionsgate Swings to Loss

Feb 10, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Lionsgate lost $93.4 million in the fiscal third quarter compared with a profit of $7.3 million in the year-earlier period, after a double-digit decline in home video sales and three weak movie releases for the quarter ended Dec. 31, Daily Variety reports. Yet revenue rose 8% gain to $324 million, helped by an increase in television revenue from a second season of “Mad Men” and the debut season of “Crash,” the publication says.
