San Francisco Handles DTV Change

Feb 19, 2009  •  Post A Comment

The transition to digital transmission went smoothly for four San Francisco-area television stations, with fewer than expected complaint calls logged on Wednesday, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. The stations that switched on the original Feb. 17 date were independents KOFY-TV, KICU-TV, KFTY-TV and Chinese-language KCNS-TV, the newspaper says.

  1. That’s because there’s nothing to watch on any of those stations anyways. Channel 36 has a damn BUG on their shows. I liked when Channel 38 had Dr. Gene Scott; don’t think they ever got a stereo signal so surprised they went digital.
