What Chicago TV Reporters Wear in the Cold

Feb 5, 2009  •  Post A Comment

TV reporters in Chicago tell the Chicago Tribune what they wear when it’s freezing out. “I’m wearing a scarf, three pairs of socks, a pair of long johns,” WBBM-TV’s Mike Puccinelli told the paper on a cold morning. “I asked if I could wear jeans today; they’re much warmer than suit pants. And I’ve got a T-shirt, a long-john shirt, a turtleneck sweater and a jacket.”

  1. Having just experienced my coldest day ever in South Florida(low of 36 degrees, wind chill drops it to 30 or so), I can see why Chicagoans have to bundle up. I don’t envy those reporters…I sympathize with them.
