TV Eyes ‘Bad News’ Overload

Television newsrooms are becoming concerned about viewers developing “bad news fatigue” and are seeking ways to balance their newscasts after weeks of grim financial coverage, the New York Daily News reports. “While it may not seem like it every evening, we are always looking for good news around here, especially right now in this economy,” “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams told viewers, the newspaper says.

  1. What an amazing transformation in thinking from the mainstream news media. For 8 years under Bush there was nothing but bad news evenin the best of economic times.
    This is so totally transparent in terms of the mainstream news media beingint he tank for Obama and another reason that they are loosing viewers and goin out of business
