MGM has cleared its Sunday movie block in 65% of the country in less than 10 days, TVNewsday reports. The “MGM Primetime Sunday Movie” will air on CW affiliates from Tribune Co., Sunbeam TV Corp. and Gray Television, among others. MGM films already have been airing Sundays from 8-10 p.m.; the studio offered the package to affiliates after The CW gave back responsibility for programming the night to stations, the site says.
