News Corp. will significantly incorporate its broadcast operations into its presence at the 2010 Cable Show, with much of the push coming from Fox Sports, B&C reports.

The show, scheduled for May 11-13 in Los Angeles, will include "several big names" from Fox’s NFL, MLB and NASCAR shows to attend and sign autographs. The network also plans to include talent from its entertainment arm, including a possible appearance by Jane Lynch of "Glee," although nothing is yet settled, the article says.

Mike Hopkins, Fox Networks president of affiliate sales and marketing, tells B&C that the decision to promote the broadcast network at The Cable Show is sound, since 60% of Fox station and network homes are watched on cable systems.
