Broadcast, Cable and Online Vet Erik Sorenson Joins Exec Search and Managing Consultant Group

Sucherman Consulting Group, which is a management consulting and executive search firm, has brought media industry veteran Erik Sorenson on-board its senior management team as executive vice president, the group announced today. 

Sorenson’s career in television is extensive, from being a news director for KCBS-TV in Los Angeles at 28 to being the Executive Producer of the "CBS Evening News with Dan Rather" to holding the position of President of MSNBC for five years. He most recently served as president and CEO of Vault.com, a subscription-and-advertising-based career management web site.

Sorenson’s role at Sucherman will be developing new clients in the areas of news, entertainment, and sports and will also assist in developing new clients for executive search.
