An FX star who normally plays a dramatic character will try his hand at comedy when he appears on a two-episode arc on NBC’s "The Office," reports TV Guide.
Timothy Olyphant, who plays U.S. Marshal Raylon Givens on "Justified," will be an adversary to the Dunder-Mifflin sales staff, playing a super salesman who challenges the territory of Jim, Michael, Dwight and Pam.
According to Paul Lieberstein, one of the show’s writers who also plays the character Toby, "He steals clients away … so they have a little sting set up. They set up a fake company to see what his secret is."
The episodes will air in the first half of the year.
If you watched his great new show – Justified – this summer, you will know that he should have no trouble with comedy.
