3D Television Channel to Debut This Sunday, From Sony, Discovery and IMAX

The 3D television channel that’s a partnership between Sony, Discovery and IMAX, will debut this Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, reports the New York Post.

The network is called 3net and it will broadcast programs about the 3D experience as well as shows such as "Hubble 3D," a program about space that’s narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio, and "Wildebeest Migrations," the story says.

3net has also struck a carriage agreement with DirecTV, the story says.
