A former star of "That ’70s Show" has been tapped to play Chelsea Handler in her 20s in "Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea," an NBC comedy based on Handler’s autobiographical book by the same name, reports Deadline.com.

Laura Prepon, who played Donna on the Fox sitcom “That ‘70s Show,” will play Chelsea Hanson, a single cocktail waitress who has strong opinions and loves to drink and have sex, the story notes. "Vodka" comes from Warner Bros. TV and Werner Entertainment, the story says.

Since "That ’70s Show" ended in 2006, Prepon has co-starred on the ABC drama "October Road" and has performed in guest roles on several series, the story notes.
