Another executive casualty has taken place in the wake of the Comcast acquisition of NBCUniversal, Deadline.com reports. The latest to fall is Peter Smith, the president of NBCU International, who will vacate his position with the company at the end of the month, according to the story.

Steve Burke, chairman of the post-merger NBCUniversal, announced in November that Smith would be reporting to Jeff Shell, the Comcast Programming Group president who was brought in to head up NBCU International. According to sources, Smith wasn’t happy with the new setup and chose to bow out.
