In what will be a papal first, Pope Benedict will answer viewers’ questions on television on Good Friday, April 22, reports The Guardian.
The catch is that the pope has agreed to only answer three questions–and each of those must be about Jesus, the story notes. The program will be pre-recorded and broadcast on Italy’s publicly owned RAI network, which will set up a website for the show and post suggestions about what to ask the pope.
It’s unclear whether U.S.-based Catholics will be able to watch the show.
The program is called "In His Image," and the article notes that the program may be an effort to plug the pope’s new book on the life of Jesus, which will be published Thursday.
