Veteran TV Casting Director Dies at 59

Vicki Rosenberg Suchin, a casting director for more than two decades, has died at age 59.

She died on Tuesday, March 8, in her home in Tarzana, Calif., of natural causes while in her sleep. 

"Among the hundreds of pilots, series and telefilms she cast was ‘Taxi,’ ‘Who’s the Boss,’  ‘Married … With Children’ and ‘Judging Amy,’ " according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The story also said: "A native of Hewlett, N.Y., Suchin began her entertainment career with producers Linda Otto and Joan Barnett in 1976 before moving to the TV casting departments at NBC, Paramount and Columbia TriStar Television."

"Suchin was the wife of personal manager Milt Suchin and the sister of Imagine Entertainment president Michael Rosenberg," the story says, adding, "In addition to her husband and brother, Suchin is survived by her son Zachary and another brother, Robert."

The article notes that in Suchin’s memory "donations can be made to Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles."
