CBS has decided to drop two comedies and a drama from its prime-time schedule, according to word that leaked out Sunday in advance of the network’s upfront presentation this week, the Los Angeles Times’ ShowTracker blog reported.
"$#*! My Dad Says," a sitcom starring William Shatner and based on a Twitter feed of the same name, has been canceled, along with the romantic comedy “Mad Love,” starring Jason Biggs and Sarah Chalke.
CBS also cut "The Defenders," a legal drama starring Jim Belushi and Jerry O’Connell.
CBS, which reveals its fall schedule on Wednesday, didn’t comment, the story adds.
