OWN plans to halt its regular programming today at 4 p.m., when "The Oprah Winfrey Show" airs its final episode on network television after 25 years in syndication, to begin six days of "Oprah-filled programming," reports EW.com’s Inside TV blog.

Shows that are scheduled on the cable network include "The Gayle King Show: Best of Oprah Winfrey," "Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes" and “Ask Oprah’s All Stars,” the story says.

"We couldn’t think of a more appropriate way to honor Oprah than for OWN to celebrate her ongoing legacy and enormous contribution to daytime television. … We will all be watching this truly historic event," said OWN interim Chief Executive Peter Liguori in a statement.
