Report: Comedy Central Programming Exec Out

One of the programming executives at Comedy Central has left the company, Nellie Andreeva of Deadline.com reports.

According to the story, Elizabeth Porter, Comedy Central’s SVP Specials & Talent, was let go on Friday, May 20, 2011. Porter, a seven-year veteran of the network, was in charge of Comedy Central’s specials that roasted celebrities, the report says.

The story added that "Porter joined Comedy Central from USA Network, where she oversaw all alternative programming and specials."
