Seeking to rule out foul play, Jeff Conaway’s family had an autopsy performed on the former "Taxi" star last weekend, reports RadarOnline.com.

His sisters wanted to make sure there was no evidence of foul play, even though they were aware of Conaway’s battle with prescription drugs, the story says. Conaway’s former fiancee wasn’t allowed to see him in the hospital because his family had secured a restraining order against her.

The autopsy results could take up to six weeks. As previously reported, Conaway died last week after being taken off life support following a two-week coma.
