Actors from two broadcast shows will star in a Lifetime movie about an accused murderer, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s The Live Feed blog.

"Parks and Recreation" star Rob Lowe and "The Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco have joined the cast of the movie about Drew Peterson, who is awaiting trial, the story says.

Lowe will play Peterson, described as a charismatic Chicago cop who has been charged with the death of his third wife after his fourth wife mysteriously disappeared. Cuoco will play Peterson’s fourth wife, whose disappearance drew attention to his behavior, the piece notes.

Peterson was arrested and indicted for the death of his third wife, who was found drowned in an empty bathtub in 2004, the article notes. Peterson has denied involvement.
