NBC News has filled the position of Senior Vice President and CFO for NBC News, reports TVNewser.com. The organization promoted MSNBC Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Dave Pietrycha to the post, the story says.

In his new role, Pietrycha will still oversee MSNBC financial issues, along with adding the financial responsibilities for the NBC News broadcasts.

NBC News President Steve Capus said in a statement, "In his new role, I am confident that he will continue his leadership steering all of our NBC News and MSNBC platforms towards their best business performance.”
