With the talk show market heating up in the post-“Oprah Winfrey Show” era, NBCUniversal has been chalking up sales for one of its entries.

"Steve Harvey," a new talk show from NBCU, has been cleared in more than 55% of the U.S. for a fall 2012 debut, reports B&C.

The one-hour show, hosted by Harvey and produced by Endemol, has been cleared on the NBC-owned TV stations as well as stations in the Fox, CBS, Hearst, Cox, Capital, Sinclair, Local TV and LIN Television groups, along with other stations, the story says.

Harvey has been thriving as host of Debmar-Mercury’s “Family Feud,” the story notes.

NBCU also has a conflict-oriented talk show, “Trisha Goddard,” which has sold to Sinclair, the story reports.

Other syndicated talk projects currently being shopped include Katie Couric’s “Katie,” from Disney-ABC; “Jeff Probst,” from CBS TV Distribution; “Ricki Lake,” from Twentieth; and “Bethenny Frankel,” from Warner Bros.
