A former CBS News reporter who left the network last month has been hired by ABC News, reports TVNewser.

Kelly Cobiella, who left CBS to relocate to London with her husband, will work for ABC out of its London news bureau.

In a note to staff, ABC News President Ben Sherwood said of Cobiella: "Kelly is a seasoned journalist who spent the last eight years at CBS News based in Miami, Dallas and New York. She was the first American network journalist to report from Tripoli when the Libyan revolution started in March, and she’s covered news in Iraq, Haiti, Cuba and Venezuela. Kelly’s reporting on the U.S. economic crisis has been recognized with both Emmy and Peabody awards. She is no stranger to ABC after many years with our affiliates in Miami and Grand Junction."

In addition to Cobiella, Sherwood announced two other hires: Ginger Zee is the new meteorologist for the weekend edition of "Good Morning America," and Bazi Kanani, a former general assignment reporter for KUSA-TV in Denver, will be the ABC News correspondent in Nairobi.
