CBS has found a new anchor for the Sunday editions of its "Evening News" broadcasts. The network will move Jeff Glor, who has been news anchor for “The Early Show” for the past year, into the spot, B&C reports.

Glor will also keep his job as a special correspondent for “This Morning,” which he has had for a couple of months. The show is undergoing some tweaks in advance of its Jan. 9 relaunch.

Glor was the Saturday anchor for “Evening News” from 2009-10, and has been a national correspondent for all CBS News broadcasts, the story notes. He joined CBS News in 2007.

  1. I’m sure Glor is just “thrilled” to be working weekends again. Give it about a year. He will follow Russ Mitchell’s lead and return to local news.
