Netflix appears to be back in the good graces of investors after releasing new data on streaming video usage, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Company Town blog.

The company’s shares had their biggest gain in almost a year Wednesday, when they jumped 11%, the story reports.

Netflix said its customers streamed more than 2 billion hours of content during 2011’s fourth quarter, the report notes. Richard Greenfield, an analyst with BTIG, said that would make Netflix the 15th most watched television network, beating CNN, History and FX, the piece adds.
