Bruce Casino has been promoted to senior vice president of cable and ancillary sales at NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.
Mr. Casino most recently was vice president in that area, where since 2004 he has been spearheading off-network sales campaigns for the shows “House” and “Heroes,” as well as a variety of major movie packages.
Before joining NBC, Mr. Casino oversaw cable and ancillary sales for Universal Domestic Television and was executive vice president of Unapix Syndication.
“Bruce is truly an innovative dealmaker and has played an instrumental role in some of our biggest deals over the last several years,” said Frances Manfredi, NBCU’s executive VP of cable and nontheatrical sales, in a statement Wednesday. “I am thrilled that he will continue to be a key player on our domestic team.”
