Reality TV maven Mark Burnett and “Two and a Half Men” co-creator Chuck Lorre are getting stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which greenlights honorees, announced Wednesday that the two producers will be among the 25 film, TV, radio and music talents to get stars during 2009. Other television types who made the cut include “CSI” star William Petersen, “Desperate Housewives” actress Felicity Huffman, TNT topliner Kyra Sedgwick (“The Closer”) and VH1 reality regular John Stamos (whose primetime work includes “ER” and “Full House.”)
Harry Shearer, familiar to most for providing numerous voices on “The Simpsons,” is also getting a star. But he’s not being honored for his TV work. Instead, the chamber is classifying Mr. Shearer as a radio star, a nod to his 25 years as host of the nationally syndicated “Le Show.”
