Hallmark Sets June Movie Marathons

The Hallmark Channel will celebrate Father’s Day and the beginning of summer with three themed movie marathons in June.
“Movies for Pop” will air every night June 6-June 13 at 9 p.m., and on June 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 a.m. The marathon will feature Hallmark Channel original movies and Hallmark Hall of Fame presentations, including the cable premiere of “Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness,” starring Dean Cain and Peri Gilpin. Other films set to air include “Charlie & Me,” “Wild Hearts,” “Out of the Woods,” “Wedding Daze” and “A Painted Heart.”
The network will usher in summer with a 13-hour “Summer Vacation” marathon beginning at 10 a.m. on June 21. The block will showcase the films “The Journey of Natty Gann,” “Swiss Family Robinson,” “Pollyanna,” “Heavyweights” and the 1961 feature “The Parent Trap.”
On June 28, the Hallmark Channel will present a marathon of movies from the Hallmark Hall of Fame collection, including the cable premiere of “Back When We Were Grown Ups,” starring Peter Fonda and Blythe Danner. Also airing: “What the Deaf Man Heard,” “The Runaway,” “Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness,” “Candles on Bay Street” and “Harvest of Fire.”
