TNT’s ‘Closer’ Lines Up Full-Season Sponsors

TNT’s “The Closer” will return July 14 with Ford Motor Co., SoyJoy and T-Mobile USA on board as seasonlong sponsors.
The sponsorships will include custom marketing and promotions featuring on-air co-branded marketing and product integration.
Ford and T-Mobile will run on-air marketing billboards adjacent to each brand’s creative spot. The billboards will serve as segues into commercial breaks. Customized vignettes of on-air content featuring clips from the show also were developed by TNT for T-Mobile to drive traffic to the program.
Additionally, T-Mobile and SoyJoy products will be featured on the program. The show will integrate the T-Mobile Shadow and SoyJoy as a healthier snack choice for Kyra Sedgwick’s character.
“We are proud to work together with each of these key advertisers this season on individually customized marketing campaigns, extending the opportunity to be part of such a widely viewed, celebrated original series,” said Katherine Johnson, Turner Entertainment’s senior VP of promotions and marketing, in a statement. “This season we continue to leverage high-profile TNT platforms to maximize each marketer’s branded message in unique ways.”
