CBS Goes for More ‘Worst’

Oct 21, 2008  •  Post A Comment

CBS is showing some love to new comedy “Worst Week.”
The network has just ordered two more scripts of the show, which is produced by CBS Paramount Network Television and Universal Media Studios. While the order isn’t the same as a full-season pickup, it’s a positive sign that indicates CBS is sticking by the show.
After generating some of the best reviews of the new season, “Worst Week” premiered to disappointing Nielsen numbers last month, losing a big chunk of its sizable “Two and a Half Men” lead-in. The show has stabilized in recent weeks, however, beating ABC’s “Samantha Who?” in demos for the past two weeks.
Last night, “Worst” averaged 9.9 million viewers and a 3.2/7 share in adults 18-49.
