Lauren Zalaznick, boss at NBC Universal cable properties Bravo and Oxygen, is on a run that has helped Bravo beat profit records each year she has been there, the New York Times says. The channel offers advertisers engaged audiences, and marketers pay over $8 in cost-per-thousand ad rates. That’s third among cable channels. Zalaznick says she’s gunning for an audience of “affluencers,” aka wealthy women (or gay men) with cute boyfriends and hot cell phones.
