MTV Rocks Vote, Takes Political Ads

Jun 25, 2008  •  Post A Comment

While MTV’s sister channels in Viacom’s MTV Networks division have accepted campaign ads in the past, the music channel had abstained. This year’s presidential candidates are buying more cable advertising time, the newspaper reports.

  1. Article quote:
“While MTV’s sister channels… have accepted campaign ads in the past, the music channel had abstained.”

  2. With all the money that’s going to be floating around and spent on the campaigns this year, it makes sense for MTV to avail itself of a portion.
