Coca-Cola will cut marketing expenses in an effort to save as much as $500 million in annual costs by 2011, Advertising Age reports, citing the company’s second-quarter earnings call. As part of the effort, Coke will replace a number of local marketing-research agreements with fewer global ones, the magazine says.
