Lifetime Top Bidder for ‘Mother’

Sep 24, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Lifetime agreed to buy the re-run rights to “How I Met Your Mother” for about $750,000 an episode, one of the highest prices ever paid by a cable network for an off-network sit-com, according to Daily Variety. Lifetime outbid TBS, ABC Family, FX and Comedy Central, the paper says. Twentieth TV is expected to earn even more when it sells the CBS show to local stations, the trade paper says.
