Fox parent company News Corp. has purchased VeriSign’s stake in mobile content provider Jamster for $200 million, Wired reports. A year ago the media conglomerate purchased 51 percent of Jamster for $187.5 million from VeriSign and the price of VeriSign’s remaining stake shows Jamster hasn’t increased much in value, Wired says. VeriSign shares rose this morning by 5.5% while News Corp. dropped 1%.
