TiVo’s deal with Netflix to stream movies and TV shows through the DVR service’s set-top box is effective today, TiVo announced in a press release. The service is free to Netflix and TiVo Series 3, TiVo HD or TiVO HD XL subscribers and kicks off with 12,000 movie and TV show titles in both standard and high definition, the release said.
