Richard Parsons, former Time Warner chairman-CEO, is under consideration to replace Bill Richardson as President-elect Barack Obama’s choice for Secretary of Commerce, Time magazine reports in a blog post. Parsons previously was a White House aide under President Gerald Ford and was an executive for Dime Bank, the site says. He left Time Warner last month and was part of Obama’s Transition Economic Advisory Board, Time says.
