Conservative Web site pjtv.com has hired 2008 presidential election figure Joe the Plumber as a war correspondent and is sending him to Israel, Breitbart.com reports. Samuel J. Wurzelbacher told WNWO-TV in Toledo, Ohio, that he will spend 10 days covering the war from the “average Joe’s” perspective, according to Breitbart.

  1. Heaven forbid anyone would hire an “average Joe” to cover the war. That’s why networks and cable/satellite services hire professionals. (Even Fox News Channel…oh, wait a minute. One of their “professionals,” Geraldo Rivera, let slip the position of the unit with which he was embedded during our war against Iraq. Not smart.)
