Showtime is bringing back “The L Word” as a reality series following six L.A. lesbians as they go about their lives, Variety reports.

The pay cable network gave the go-ahead, contingent on casting, for nine episodes of “The Real L Word: Los Angeles”—a lesbian version of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” series—for air sometime next year.

‘L Word’ creator Ilene Chaiken is producing with Magical Elves. The original show ran for six seasons.
