A&E set a premiere date for its reality show about the Jackson family, the Associated Press reports.
"The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty" will start Dec. 13 with back-to-back episodes. The six-episode show follows brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Tito and Marlon as they prepare a reunion concert tour and cope with brother Michael’s death.

Having spent nearly a year with the entire family (Save Jermaine) during the CBS-TV Series; THE JACKSONS in 1976-77, I hope this will be a true and honest show. Many wonderful moments and many real, behind-the-scenes moments that I participated in have left me with happy, sad and angry memories. The angry moments were never with them, rather, they were with and about those around them who only wanted to manipulate Michael and his brothers. The Jacksons were, and are, very talented and sensitive individuals.
