Oprah Winfrey is moving on after NFL quarterback Michael Vick backed out of plans to appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show will replace Vick with actor David Arquette in his first post-rehab interview, the story says.
Winfrey told the publication that she learned Vick had canceled on the show from an email sent by her executive producer, and said, "We’re not going to push it" after Vick indicated he was canceling for personal reasons. She added that her staff had been working "for months" on the interview, including pre-taping some segments with Vick.
The story says Winfrey taped the interview with Arquette on Thursday in Chicago.
