Tim Kring, the creator of NBC’s "Heroes," is working on another drama about people with superpowers, although this time around the focus is on teens and the project is in development at the CW, reports Deadline.com.

The project, called "Exp," looks at the impact of a foreign designer drug that makes people faster, smarter and stronger, after it’s introduced to American high schools, the story says.

The project, from Kring’s Tim Kring Imperative and Warner Bros. TV, is written on spec by Zach Craley and Jarrett Conaway. Kring, Zak Kadison and Bradley Thomas are executive producing, along with Craley and Conaway.

The project marks the second in development at the CW for Kring, as he’s also executive producing "Dorothy Must Die," a Wizard of Oz-themed drama.
