The HBO vampire drama “True Blood” is still a “bankable hit,” with the premiere of its final season drawing 5.8 million viewers, The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports.
“True Blood” aired the premiere for its seventh and final season Sunday night, with overall viewership improving somewhat from the previous season, the story notes. Over the course of four airings Sunday night, the episode had 5.8 million viewers, with its first broadcast drawing 4 million.
