The shakeup continues for the ABC daytime talk staple “The View,” with the latest casualty being executive producer Bill Wolff.

Variety notes that Wolff’s departure marks another milestone in a turbulent period for the show that goes back about two years.

“ABC has yet to line up a permanent replacement for Wolff, who will remain at the helm through the end of September to see the show through the launch of its 19th season with a revamped panel of hosts,” Variety reports. “Candi Carter, an ‘Oprah Winfrey Show’ alum who recently joined as a consulting producer, will serve as interim showrunner until a successor is named.”

Wolff has been with “The View” since last summer, after previously working on MSBNC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show.”

  1. The View needs to be canceled. Its a joke now.

  2. I have watched the View for years and I think there needs to be a change in the Ladies but with the exception of Whoopie Goldberg and the lady with the conservative view is very intelligent but I understand she is leaving perhaps they should look at getting some interesting people. It was interesting when Barbara, Meredith and Joy were there it hasn’t in my opinion improved a whole lot since that era. For the most part I think it is a good show Atleast the idea is, prefer that to those silly
    Reality shows.

  3. The show is worthless there is nothing redeeming about it. No one cares.

  4. With the return of Joy Behar, arguably the best of the original hosts, there is certainly hope for a turnaround ths year.
