Embattled comedian and TV icon Bill Cosby scored a win in court when a judge in Pennsylvania tossed out a defamation lawsuit against him.
TMZ.com reports that the suit filed by Renita Hill was dismissed. Hill “went public in 2014, claiming Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her in the ’80s, some of which occurred when she was a teenager working with him on the kids show ‘Picture Pages,'” the story reports.
Hill later sued for defamation, alleging that Cosby and his attorneys, who denied her accusations, made her look like a liar. “The judge in the case decided the statements made by Cosby and his team were opinions and generalizations about all the accusers … and therefore, not defamatory,” TMZ reports.
